Zorluteks Textile Foreign Trade Operations Manager
Born in 1975, Nuray Karabıyık graduated from Lüleburgaz Trade High School and later graduated from Anadolu University Business Administration Faculty in 1997. She received certificate of free accountant chartered financial advisor in 2003. She worked in various companies as an accounting officer and then started working as a foreign trade application specialist at Zorluteks Tektstil in 2007 and worked in various levels and positions. As of January 2020, she continues to work as Foreign Trade Operations Manager at Zorluteks Tekstil. As of 2019, she serves as the treasurer member of the YYS Association.

Zorluteks Tekstil is one of the leading companies of home textiles with curtain and home textile production facilities, marketing company and world-famous brands. Zorluteks Tekstil's main activity is the production and marketing of curtains and home textile products (bed sheets, bed linen, tablecloths, pique). TAÇ, the largest brand of Zorlu Textile Group, serves 1,698 stores in Turkey and 120 outlets in 32 countries and 770 outlets abroad with a wide range of products ranging from curtains to linens, bedspreads to towels, blankets to licensed products. Turkey's first specialized home textile stores chain opened to the international market, Linens offers products to millions of consumers with 73 stores. Curtains, bed linen, bed sheet, towels and bathroom group products, baby group products, tableware group and accessories are offered for sale in linen stores; It provides curtain services from a to z.
Under the Coordination of its headquarters in Istanbul, Zorluteks Tekstil distributes and markets textile products in CIS countries and other overseas countries as well as in the other national markets. Zorluteks, which holds home textile licensing rights in many countries of dozens of internationally recognized characters, also has a significant share in the licensed products market. Duvet covers and curtains decorated with countless characters, from Barbie to Spider Man and Disney characters are produced by Zorluteks and marketed in many countries.
In Zorluteks, which exports 70% of its production to the foreign market and 30% to the domestic market, new generation fiber products such as modal, lyocel, bamboo were developed for the first time in its production facility and presented to the consumer with the brands TAÇ, Linens, Valeron. Zorluteks exports 34% of its curtain production and sells 66% domestically with its existing brands.
Zorlu Tekstil Group, which implements innovation in textiles and signs the firsts, invests every year in R & D for sustainable innovation. Zorluteks became the first home textile company to receive “authorized economic operator status certificate (AEO)” in 2017. Zorluteks, which has shown rapid growth over the years with its activities in the field of home textiles and has spread to five continents by crossing the borders of Turkey, has strengthened its success on the international platform with this document it has received.
With authorized economic operator status certificate a significant cost decrease and operational differences occurred, the application period taking a few days in customs clearance, can be completed in a much shorter period of time with green line system, and demurrage and storage costs are reduced, the inventory of temporary imported and exported goods of Turkey customs area to the red line without being directed to carry out the transaction in the determination of a serious cost and time advantage were obtained.
