UYYS Association's Visit to South Korea!

Our delegation, consisting of our Chairman of the Board, Mr. Mehmet Altay YEGİN, our Board Member, Mr. Ahmet Sultan ŞAHİN, and our members, Ms. Canan KARACAK and Mr. Nuri KÖSE, held meetings in South Korea on September 2-3. The visits focused on current issues shaped by global geopolitical and geo-economic developments.

On the first day, our delegation visited the Korea Authorized Economic Operator Association (KAA), and on the second day, they visited the Turkish Embassy in Seoul and the headquarters of our member company, Samsung and Donghee in Suwon.

At the meeting, which was also attended by our Trade Counselor at the Ministry of Trade, Ms. Özlem ÜNTEZ, who honored us with her participation, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed, agreeing on cooperation regarding a letter of recommendation for membership in the World Customs Organization Private Sector Advisory Group (WCO-PSCG), AEO training projects, Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA), and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) revision processes.
