Purpose and Scope of the PSCG:
The PSCG informs and advises the WCO Secretary-General, the Policy Commission, and WCO members on customs and international trade issues from a private sector perspective. It provides essential contributions to WCO committee meetings through private sector observers. Additionally, the PSCG offers advisory services to the WCO Secretary-General, the Policy Commission, and WCO members.
The PSCG aims to support the acceptance and effective implementation of WCO and related international instruments. It advocates for and works to implement WCO-developed programs, leveraging resources from both the business community and government relations.
We are pleased to announce that we submitted our application to join the Private Sector Consultative Group in March. It would be a great honor for us, as a Turkish civil society organization, to be part of this esteemed group. Representing our country in the PSCG at the WCO would be a tremendous privilege.
Upon becoming full members, the International Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Association — which has been a pioneer in innovations and firsts — will continue to advocate for the rights and interests of AEOs, not only in our country but also on the international stage.
