MOVING FORWARD "TOGETHER" FOR A COMMON FUTURE

Our Association was established to bring together Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certified organizations operating in the field of foreign trade in Turkey and abroad, to ensure information exchange, solidarity, and coordination among them, to develop proposals regarding the rights and practices within the scope of the Authorized Economic Operator Certificate, and to contribute to the development of foreign trade in this way. Among all the activities carried out, we did not neglect our traditional "Welcome Summer" gatherings this year. On June 28, we came together with representatives of AEO-certified companies based in the Izmir region at the Arkas Mathheys Mansion. In our “Welcome Summer” event, where we evaluated our activities, future goals, opinions, and suggestions, our motto was "TOGETHER". During the event, we also listed our 2025 overseas activities and future goals as follows:

• Admission as a full member of the WCO Private Sector Consultative Group (PSCG),

• Visit to the UK HM Revenue & Customs within the Turkey-UK Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA),

• Implementation of the AEO Process Management Program in cooperation with UYYSD Academy,

• Cooperation with universities in foreign trade, customs, and logistics education,

• Cooperation with Chambers of Industry and Commerce to raise AEO awareness,

• Webinar with the Ministry of Trade, Directorate General of Customs, Trade Facilitation Department,

• Trade Facilitation Workshop with the Directorate General of Customs and Guidance and Inspection Board,

• Organization of International AEO Webinar with foreign AEO Associations. Most importantly, with the motto "TOGETHER," it symbolized that association members can achieve successes collectively that they cannot achieve alone. In this context:

• By working together, we can overcome foreign trade barriers.

• By learning together, we can stand out in global competition.

• By collaborating on innovative initiatives, we can transform our sector. Our aim as an Association is to combine the voices of our members: to ensure more effective representation before policymakers, to develop common solutions to sectoral problems, and to defend the interests of Turkish foreign trade on international and national platforms. With the culture of solidarity we have established, we can eliminate information asymmetries in the sector, support each other during crises, and increase our collective knowledge by sharing best practices. As the International Authorized Economic Operator Association, by acting with the motto "TOGETHER," a more competitive, sustainable, and facilitative future awaits our members. From facilitation in customs procedures to international cooperation, from digital transformation to the green economy, we have no doubt that we will be stronger and go further together with our members. With this belief, we invited all members of our association to cooperation and solidarity to achieve our common goals. With the motto "TOGETHER," UYYSD members are taking firm steps toward becoming an international non-governmental organization that frequently gathers, conducts international research, compares and questions simplification practices, and acts according to the demands of its members
