Amendment To The Regulation On The Facilitation Of Customs Procedures

With the amendment to the regulation on the facilitation of customs procedures, export-oriented separation was made between companies with authorized liability status.

The Ministry of Commerce's regulation on amending the regulation on the facilitation of customs procedures was published in the repeated issue of the official newspaper. Accordingly, export-oriented separation was made between companies with authorized liability status.

The change was aimed at increasing the convenience of companies with this status and making them more effective and reviewing existing processes and improving them so that these companies can become stronger in international competition by gaining speed and cost advantage.

In this context, more convenience was made to export manufacturing companies, less inspection and document control than other companies, customs clearance of inputs that will contribute to production was made easier in the company's facilities.

Export-oriented separation was made in the authorized obliged certificate (AOC), and AOC -I and AOC -II status were organized. Accordingly, companies that are manufacturers, have exported at least $ 5 million in the last year and employ at least 50 workers will be granted AOC -I status, companies that are manufacturers, have exported at least $ 1 million in the last year, and companies that employ at least 30 workers will be granted AOC -II status.

It was aimed to provide more convenience to export manufacturing companies with these status, to carry out customs clearance of inputs that will contribute to production at the company's facilities, and to be subjected to less inspection and document control than other companies.
